On behalf of Mayor McGill, it is my pleasure to announce some of the special events sponsored by and/or in collaboration with the City of Fort Smith and the Mayor's Office.
Feb 4 - A Raisin in the Sun
$20 Student Ticket (Requires Student ID), 40$ General Admission, $125 VIP Admission (includes premium seating, access to VIP cocktail bag, reserved parking and coat check)
Feb 11,12, & 13 - The Fabric of Fort Smith
Malco 14 Theater at Central Mall in Fort Smith. Two matinees will host this short documentary acknowledging Black History of Fort Smith. Keep a lookout for viewing times and pricing. Come out and learn about the rich history of the City of Fort Smith and the major roles black people have played in the development and notoriety of our community.
Feb 25 - The Mayor's 2nd Annual Black History Gala
Returning to the United States Marshals Museum. This will be a black tie event to close out the 2022 Black History Month Celebration.
