Bus Transportation - Fixed Route Services

Fort Smith Transit provides transportation to the public within the city limits. Fixed-route services consist of a bus network that runs through main roads, the downtown area, and several residential areas within the city. All fixed-route buses are equipped with lifts for mobility devices.

Curbside Services (Demand Response and Paratransit)

Demand response buses are available to passengers with mobility challenges that hinder access to fixed routes. Paratransit buses are available for passengers traveling to or from considered destinations outside the fixed route network area. Transit staff are trained to help you navigate the route and timing, buy a voucher, or put a mobility device in an elevator or on a bus.

Fort Smith Transit launched a new mobile application to help you track buses on your smartphone! Download the free RouteShout 2.0 app on your Apple device or download the RouteShout 2.0 app on your Android device. 

 With the RouteShout 2.0 app, you will be able to:
