Parks & Recreation

The Department of Parks and Recreation maintains over 650 acres of park land, including more than 230 acres of soft-surface trails and 20 miles of paved, accessible trails, across 34 parks citywide.

We are committed to providing safe, accessible, and inclusive parks and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities. Through park maintenance, programming, and long-term planning, we support a healthy and connected community.

Facility Reservations

Reservations for City-managed community centers and park facilities are handled through the Creekmore Community Center.

Sports Facility Reservations

The City of Fort Smith does NOT manage ballfield or tennis court reservations.
