Description:  This project includes drainage improvements at the three locations described below:

7900 Block of Yorktown Road – This location includes the installation of drainage channels to intercept and direct runoff away from two houses. Two houses are experiencing flooding and water is eroding a foundation.

3800 - 3900 Block of Park Avenue - This location includes the installation of storm water piping and inlets adjacent to two houses that are experiencing flooding. It also includes the replacement of approximately 400 feet of rusted out 4' x 5' corrugated metal pipe along North 39^th Street and Park Avenue with a concrete box culvert.                                 

3400 Block of Edinburgh Drive - This location includes the replacement of an undersized concrete lined ditch. Three houses are experiencing flooding in this area and severe yard flooding is also occurring.

Description: This project consists of asphalt street resurfacing for the 1.8 mile section of Phoenix Avenue between Towson Avenue and Old Greenwood Road.  This project also includes planned utility work for the sanitary sewer lines and manholes which needs to be completed prior to the street resurfacing work. The utility work is not only planned along Phoenix Avenue but also along portions of Utica Street and South 24^th Street. It should be noted that the 2023 Street Overlays/Reconstruction projects also include resurfacing of those sections of Utica Street and South 24 Street under a separate contract. The cost for the work on the sanitary sewer lines and manholes will be reimbursed to the street sales tax fund from the utility department once the project is complete. The estimated cost for this utility work is $1.4 million.
