The City of Fort Smith is committed to providing equal access to its digital services, information, and programs for all residents and visitors, including people with disabilities.

We recognize that digital accessibility is an ongoing journey. The City is actively working to improve its webpages, online services, documents, videos, and other digital content so they conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

To support this work, the City uses third-party accessibility auditing tools, including Silktide, to regularly monitor the website and identify issues that may need to be corrected. City staff also review content, update documents, improve alternative text, add captions, and make other accessibility improvements as issues are identified.

While we are working to make all City content accessible, some older webpages, documents, third-party applications, or archived materials may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. If you experience difficulty accessing information on the City’s website, we will work to provide the information in an accessible format or through another reasonable method.
