Tree & Bench Donation Program

Our Commemorative Tree & Memorial Park Bench Programs allow groups and individuals to sponsor trees and benches to honor associates, friends, and loved ones. These programs provide a way for you to stay connected to a particular place and offer an opportunity to help keep the community beautiful for generations to come.

Commemorative Tree Planting Program

Not only are trees a beautiful and beneficial part of our community, but they can also be an amazing way to commemorate someone in your life. Honor or memorialize a friend, associate, or loved one with a Commemorative Tree.

Participating in our Commemorative Tree Planting Program is simple! First, City Staff will help you select a tree site. After choosing a location, friends, family, and business associates can see their trees planted during the spring and fall.

To secure your Commemorative Tree, a $300 donation is required. This amount includes the purchase of a tree with an approximately 1.5-inch diameter trunk, future maintenance costs, and a one-year replacement guarantee.

To participate, complete the Commemorative Bench and Tree Program form and return it (along with payment) via mail or in person. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 479-784-1006 with any questions.
