The Advertising and Promotion Commission is authorized to administer and oversee funds received from the two percent hotel/motel tax. Four members shall be hotel or motel owners or managers and shall serve staggered terms for four years. Two members shall be members of the governing body of the city and selected by the Board of Directors and shall serve at the will of the Board of Directors. One member shall be from the public at-large and shall serve for a term of four years. Vacancies in the four hotel/motel industry positions and in the at-large position shall be filled by appointment made by the remaining members of the commission, with the approval of the Board of Directors. Meetings are monthly as called and held at Ms. Laura's.
