The appeals shall be made in writing to the Fire Chief, who will forward them to the chairman. The chairman will notify board members and set up an appeals hearing. Every decision the Board makes shall be final, in writing, and indicate the vote. The Board is composed of seven members appointed by the Board of Directors. After initial staggered terms, the Board members will serve four-year terms. The Fire Chief is an ex-officio member and acts as secretary (he has no vote). The Board meets on call at Fire Station #1.
